This software allows the uploading or retrieval of files and folders or complete websites between the user's computer locally and a remote FTP server. The app accepts secure (SFTP) or non-secure (FTP) connections.
Overview |
Overall, the software comes in two lists of files and directories. One corresponds to the local computer, the other corresponds to the remote FTP server. Navigating through these lists is done by double-clicking on one of the directories. The features covered by this software are:
Local Computer Side (Left Side) |
Transfer |

Note: The file extension must be declared and associated in the operating system. |
Modify |

Note: The file extension must be declared and associated in the operating system. |

Parameter view |
General Tab |
Passive Mode |
A mode of configuring a server in which the server itself determines which connection port to use to allow data to be transferred.
Maintain the connection with the server |
Prevents the connection with the FTP remote server from being broken in case of inactivity. The FTP remote server can still terminate the connection in some cases.
Type of transfer |
Either binary (BINARY) or textual (ASCII). The transfer type is binary (BINARY) by default, the software changes the type to textual (ASCII) when it encounters the extension of a file in the list. In case the user does not use the correct type of transfer, the file becomes unusable on the FTP remote server. It then contains some weird characters.
Important: If your file, once transferred to the server, is unusable, it is probably due to this setting. |
Tongue |
Choice of the language of the application.
Style |
Choice of application style.
Date |
Choice of date format in the app.
Time lag |
Time difference of files on the FTP server. It may happen that the user or FTP server is located in a different country and therefore there is a time difference. This feature corrects this problem.
Proxy tab (FTP, HTTP, SOCKS4, SOCKS5): |
In the case of installing your internet network via a proxy, the user must check this option and enter the address, port, account and password of the proxy to be used.
